5 Warm and Cute Winter Boots for Women

My 5 Favorite Winter Boots for Women

Having been a New England native I have come to realize the true importance of a solid, keep-my-toes-warm, but still look nice, winter boot. I have tried cheap brands and well-known brands over the years. Some are great, some, not so great. The five pairs of boots below are tried and true. Great for the snow, great for rain, great on super cold days. I know it is not the main function of a boot to look good, but I really like a nice boot that is not too bulky and still presentable out and about. It’s nice to keep a slightly feminine touch while still being super warm and dry.

Sorel Women’s Winter Carnival Boots

Sorel boots are so well-known. Known for being consistent and well-made. With their incredible range of styles, colors, fits and options there is truly a boot out there for every woman. Pink boots, brown boots, classic duck boots… they have them and they are worth it. Their prices tend to be a little bit on the higher side but still affordable considering they will last you years while keeping your feet warm and toasty on the most blustery of days. I LOVE them in the blue color palette! SO. MUCH. FUN! 10045408_1

Women’s BearPaw Desdemona Boots

Bearpaw makes a wide variety of boots. From awesome winter weather boots to warm, cute and cozy boots and slippers. I love the Desdemona boot, shown here. They are most certainly on my Christmas list this year. I love that they are mid-calf height and not too bulky. They are both functional and cute, a dynamic combination. The price points are quite reasonable for the quality of boot you get. These will definitely get you through a few winters with warm and dry toes!

Women’s Minx™ Mid II Omni-Heat™ Boot by Columbia

Columbia is such a solid and well-known brand so you can feel confident and comfortable knowing that their boots will be high quality. They offer a very large array of boots. I like that many of their shoes offer a much sleeker design. Not big and bulky at all. This style also comes in an assortment of colors and patterns, which is always fun! They look great on all leg sizes too. They offer fabrics that are guaranteed to keep your feet warm and dry. They are waterproof and low-temperature approved. Overall, I believe Columbia provides a very solid boot for any cold winter.

Merrell Women’s Silversun Zip Waterproof Winter Boot

Merrell shoes are one of my all-time favorites. From summer to winter they are awesome. Worth the money, for sure. They do not have the largest variety of winter boots but the ones they do have are just great. Simple, sophisticated and a bit rugged. They tend to be on the higher-end, price wise but they warrant the cost. Any of their shoes will last you  year after year.

KEEN Women’s Elsa Boot Waterproof Winter Boot

Keen is another go-to brand for me. They make solid shoes. I have never owned their winter boots but they look very nice and always have great reviews. I like that their boots and shoes are made in America. They offer high-quality materials and are very weatherproof, which is a necessity for any New England winter. These come in a super fun variety of patterns and colors!

I ended up with a pair of Clark’s Winter Boots that are no longer available, but I wish I had gotten the Keen boots! My Clarks are so heavy and klunky and they scuff like crazy. However, they are warm, cute and my feet stay dry so I cannot complain!
